I enjoyed your TEDx talk today. I attended UARK around the same time you did, and I always admired you. I happy to see how you've evolved into a more dynamic influence in our community. Well Done!

I met you at the AAIM Conference (not sure of the year) and have not forgotten your story.  I am still trying to bring you to the district I teach in so that you can touch their lives too!

Ms Anderson,

I am an avid reader who had the pleasure of reading both 'Love, Ocean' & 'Daddy's Home' which are excellent books.  I couldn't put them down & when I had to couldn't wait to pick up where I left off.  I truly enjoyed reading both books (my son gave them to me for my b'day ...you signed them too).  Your books are true to the world as we live in it which makes it easier for young people to relate.  I look forward to reading your other books; you are a great author.

~Peace & Blessings, Evette~

Celia,

Great article in the most recent "Champion". As a D3 coach, teacher, and entrepreneur, my favorite quote of yours that I use in some form or fashion is " It's easy to play hard when the lights are on and the stands are packed, but can you play just as hard when no one is watching?"

It is such a nice breath of fresh air to hear someone advocate a strong work ethic and character development.

Thank you.

Bill

Celia,
In read your article "true measure of success" in Champion. It was really good stuff. I checked out your website and blog. It took me back to my time in Africa with grade school kids, and reminded me of some of the life changing lessons from that experience. Thank you and may God give you true purpose for life.

Jim
